Control Instruments was established in Polokwane (Pietersburg) in 1992 under the name "Tachoservices" with employment of only four staff members. In 1995, the company changed to Control Instruments Polokwane (Pietersburg) and opened a bigger and wider market in the management and security industry.
Products like CCTV, access control, computerized time and attendance, turnstiles and traffic barriers were added to the list of sales and services.
